- Records Held by Datalink IT Services
We maintain records on the following subjects:
- Internal Records: Financial, human resources (staff contracts), and operational records.
- Client Records: Service level agreements, project documentation (Web/App Development), and support tickets.
- IT Infrastructure: Asset registers.
- Processing of Personal Information (POPIA)
In accordance with POPIA, we process personal information for the following purposes:
- To perform duties in terms of a contract with a client.
- To manage employee relationships.
- To ensure the security of our physical and digital environments.
Categories of Data Subjects: Employees, clients, suppliers, and website visitors.
Recipients of Personal Information: We may share information with statutory bodies or third-party IT service providers (Operators) as required for service delivery.
- How to Request Access
To request access to a record, the requester must use the prescribed prescribed Form 2. The request must be submitted to the Information Officer at hello@dlit.co.za. A request fee may be payable before the request is processed.
